Alton Teams Take 1st and 2nd at National Tournament
On Saturday, April 28, 2018, two teams from Alton School District competed in the National Math Games League Tournament at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. After fighting it out in three rounds of play, Alton's TACOCATs and Alge-bruhs were tied for first place. Following a "sudden death" tie-breaker, the Alge-bruhs emerged to take first place.
